Travis’ Story

Travis grew up milking cows on his family’s dairy farm in upstate New York, just outside Utica.  Beach Wood Farms was founded in the 1860s by his great, great grandfather Wallace and was taken over by his father Harry.  Although he didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps, both our parents, Harry and Linda Robbins are happy with his career path (especially as they get older).

He played baseball, basketball and football at Frankfort Schuyler high school, which you can imagine lead to a few injuries.  After attending physical therapy to get back on the field, he decided that returning other people to what they want to do after an injury seemed like a pretty great career choice.

Education

He attend Ithaca College in the fall of 1996 and received his master’s degree in physical therapy in 2001, all while playing football for the three time national champion Ithaca College Bombers.  He met the love of his life, Amanda, at Ithaca where she graduated with a degree in speech pathology.

Family Info

Travis married his wife Amanda on December 8th 2001 and again on July 20th 2002 for good measure.  He has three children and another on the way due February 10, 2011 – Macy born January 10th 2005, Cade born September 4th 2006 and Delaney born May 19th 2009.
