Todd Robbins

Todd’s Story:

Travis grew up milking cows next to his twin brother Travis on his family’s dairy farm in upstate New York, just outside Utica.  Beach Wood Farms was founded in the 1860s by his great, great grandfather Wallace and was taken over by his father.  Todd decided that farm living wasn’t the life for him, but he does enjoy getting back home to throw hay bales for a weekend to remind him why he became a Physical Therapist.

He played baseball, basketball and football at Frankfort Schuyler high school, and was always interested in the human body and anatomy.  After observing orthopedic physical therapy at a local clinic where his brother was receiving treatment, he decided that this is the area of medicine that he was meant to pursue.

Education:

Todd was accepted into Ithaca College, who has the longest running Physical Therapy program in the country, in the fall of 1996 and received a master’s degree in 2001.  He played football with his brother Travis and his senior year he was named to the Academic All-American team while playing nose guard for the Bombers.  More importantly, he met his future wife Kelly at Ithaca who also graduated from the Physical Therapy program and is now a pediatric PT.
